A Dirty Carnival Hangul RRBiyeolhan geori is a South Korean neonoir mob film directed by Yoo Ha. It is Yoo Has fourth feature film, his previous work being the 2004 drama, Once Upon a Time in High School.

While these events unfold, Byungdoo is reunited with his elementary school friend, Minho, who has become a movie director. Minhos current project is a gangster film, although prospective scripts are continuously shot down by his higherups for being too fake. In an attempt to improve the films authenticity, Minho sets out to interview Byungdoo who he sees as a real gangster. Meanwhile, Minho manages to reunite Byungdoo with his high school love interest, Hyunjoo. Byungdoo finds that he still has an interest in her and attempts to rekindle their relationship.Sangchul becomes aware of the Attorney Park murder and feels threatened by Byungdoos subversion of his authority and lack of consideration for the organization. To test his ultimate allegiance, he has Byungdoos crew assist a Russian gangster Hwangs rivals in transporting sex slaves but falls short when it is ambushed by Hwangs men tipped off by Byungdoo himself. Hwang sets up a hit to take out SangChul, while Sangchul does the same to Byungdoo. Byungdoo murders Sangchul without much incident. ........
